The ASME Foundation, Inc. was incorporated as a not-for-profit supporting organization on February 7, 1986, to promote the art, science, and practice of mechanical engineering thoughout the world and engage in activities which support ASME. The Foundation is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
